Easily layered with the dinner plates to create tonal contrast and depth at the table.  The Hanami Stoneware Collection uses a reactive glaze, a traditional mineral-rich technique that blooms during firing and creates soft shifts in tone and texture. This process gives each piece its own distinct variation, so no two are exactly alike. Artistic glazing technique includes intentional crackling and crazing which is part of the beauty of the handmade glaze process.
