In Zeke Jarvis's newest collection of short stories, rules matter: when a relative dies, you must cook and eat their remains; teenagers of impoverished families may commit suicide on camera to earn extra income for their families; blood sacrifices must be made to appease the Dark Lord; and when the Overlord says something, it is law. With each aberrant story revolving around rules and existing in dystopian worlds, Jarvis bends the rules of the real world in order to create a collection that is not only chilling and satisfying, but often dark, inventive, and creative in only a way he could conceive. LIFELONG LEARNING is certain to quench the literary thirst of readers, but leaving them wanting more.
