This book is a follow up to "Surviving the Nightmare, I wanted to share my story of surviving 30 years of domestic violence. This book talks about my tough childhood and everything I've done to recover from the years of abuse.
My life is full of fear and pain, even as a young child. However, despite that I held onto hope that one day I would be at peace.
In these pages you will read about the hard times I went through. You will see the bruises and scars that showed my struggle to survive. But you will also see how I changed and grew stronger over time. Leaving my abusive relationships was not easy, but it was something I had to do.
I am proud of the progress I have made and the person I am today. My journey of recovery continues, but I no longer let that define who I am. I am defined by my strength and the belief I deserve love.
