Arriving on Earth after their incredible encounters on Blorus and Ryolia, the seven kids that made it back wanted nothing more than to return to their normal lives. For one of them, Nora Walters, her thoughts were consumed with an intense dread that wouldn't let her put their recent adventures behind them. Her concerns soon prove to be true as each kid is confronted by individuals with similar abilities as their own. Caught off guard by their assailants, most of the gang is systematically overcome. Meanwhile, the ever-powerful Feather senses the danger her friends are in and sends Kyle McGinnis and Lynea Johnson back to Earth temporarily to thwart the attacks. This decision leaves the leader of Blorus and Ryolia alone and susceptible to assaults of her own. Who is behind these attacks? What is their ultimate goal? Whatever the reason, the kids must figure out a way to defeat them and save Blorus and Ryolia for a second time. No matter what they try, though, the other side remains frustratingly one step ahead of them, and it becomes increasingly clear to the gang that this battle may not be one they can win.
