The last of humanity hides within walled cities, fleeing a deadly virus that wiped out over half the population. To combat the pandemic, a team of scientists created a new race, hybridising humans with animals. They called them Lupines. Fearing their creations, the Authorities cast the Lupines out into the wild. Rafe is a Lupine who has known only hunger and hardship. He and his friends fight daily for their own survival against desolate wilderness. But a greater fight looms as the Authorities seek to hunt down and exterminate every last one of them. Aided by his friends, Rafe sets out to unite the Lupines against their creators to fight for their lives and the right to call themselves human. Beneath the shadow of the city walls the Lupines gather. And there will be blood.
