Take everything you know about Santa Claus and throw it in the trash. Or, well, some of it. Because Santa Claus is a title, a job, not just one person. But it's a family business, one where the title is passed from father to son. And Mina's brother is next in line to be the big man in the sleigh.
When Mina Claus, normally busy working for a chocolate company in Colorado, goes home for the holidays to help with the busiest time of the year for her family, she finds out her older brother Finn has disappeared. Run away. Everyone is in a panic, and Code Gingersnaps has been called.
His last known location: Salzburg, Austria. And Mina knows just how to find him. Or so she thinks.
However, Austria is Krampus's territory.
When Mina gets turned around in the Christmas market, she runs into someone she'd hoped to avoid: Krampus's son, Rolf, who's ready and eager to prove he can take his father's place as Christmas's resident nightmare.
