Esta obra desmonta le leyenda negra a través del mestizaje. La unión matrimonial entre personas de distintas culturas y razas, que se dio de forma muy extendida en los territorios de la monarquía hispana, implica el hecho de asumir la igualdad entre personas pertenecientes a diversas razas. Las innumerables familias así creadas dan fe de que el mestizaje es la prueba de ausencia de racismo que dio lugar al surgimiento de un pueblo nuevo y grande.
This work dismantles the black legend through interethnicity. The marriage union between people of different cultures and races, which occurred widely in the territories of the Hispanic Monarchy, implies the assumption of equality between persons belonging to different races. The countless families thus created attest that interethnicity is proof of the absence of racism that gave birth to a new and great people.
