is a sad thing. Judging from the track listing on the back, it contains four of
Berlin
's best songs, which are followed by eight remixes. The four songs at the beginning --
"Sex (I'm A),"
"Metro,"
"Masquerade,"
"Take My Breath Away"
-- are actually re-recordings (a fact not indicated anywhere) with thin arrangements that hardly rival the originals.
Terri Nunn
is in good voice but lacks that snotty delivery. Regular
enablers like
Rosetta Stone
,
Transmutator
Sigue Sigue Sputnik
, and
the Mission
overhaul these and other songs for neo-
goth
