This document presents a summary of the monitoring of periodic pollution of water resources in Burkina Faso by the raw water analysis laboratory of the Directorate General of Water Resources between April 2023 and April 2024. These include investigation into fish mortality in the Yaoghin dam, Poa commune, Boulkiemde province, centre-west region; investigation into water pollution in a well in Dédougou, Boucle du Mouhoun region; inspection and sampling of water from the Poni river following illegal extraction and processing of gold by the ISM GOLD corporation mining company in the Gbomblora commune, Poni province, south-west region; investigation into fish mortality in the Korsimoro dam, North Central Region; investigation into fish mortality in the Kaleinga reservoir in the Guiba commune, South Central Region. All these pollutions resulted in the death of animals and fish.
