Fanta Christiane Heine analysiert in ihrem Buch wortinterne Sprachwechsel zwischen einer europäischen Sprache und außereuropäischen Sprachen bzw. indoeuropäischen und KongoNigerSprachen unter besonderer Berücksichtigung morphologischer Aspekte. In ihrer Studie kommt sie zu dem Schluss, dass es wortinterne Sprachwechsel gibt, welche regelgerecht sind.
