Inspector Pandurang Jagtap of the Mumbai police has a lot on his hands. He is in the transfer pool which will mean moving out of his beloved Mumbai. To complicate things further, his first murder investigation begins from a footpath, leads to an erstwhile gangster and puts him on collision course with the National Investigation Agency.
Pandurang keeps digging even after being moved to a different case involving the death of a notorious social activist. His budding romance with Bhavna is soon under stress as the investigations drag him in a vortex of political connections, personal threats and surveillance on those helping him.
In the meantime, Mumbai is bracing for an imminent terrorist strike with a promise to outdo the bomb blasts of 1993. Entire national intelligence apparatus is awake to the possibility of this being handiwork of the same man who carried them out in 1993. As Pandurng connects his investigation to the man behind the planned attacks, can he be stopped in time?
