Kate Williams has been trying for years to get into a special operations group without much success. One night Kate had a crazy dream about aliens. The next day she was face to face with one of them, eating lunch of all things. That night she was handed her transfer papers and was reassigned to the Rage Warriors special operations group in Alaska that she had put in for several weeks earlier. When she was picked up at the airport by her commanding officer it was this same alien who she had lunch with just days ago. He and his first officer drove her to their base in Fairhaven. The government had assigned her to find a substance on earth that they need to regain their former health and strength. Kate struggles to find it before someone dies. In the process, Kate and her commanding officer forge a relationship despite their differences.
