Rhett is what most people would call a male prostitute. He advertises himself as a date for hire for desperate wealthy women in need of companionship. He's seen it all over the three years that he'd been working the tiny island he'd fallen in love with the instant he'd seen it. Or at least he thought he had. When a tiny little Texan bombshell named Dixie hires him to act as her new fiancé to her little sister's wedding, he agrees. She's willing to pay him double his normal going price to go to any length necessary to convince her family and the man who'd dumped her for another woman that she's successfully moved on with her life. Her family is skeptical when Dixie shows up with Rhett on her arm and a sparkling diamond ring on the third finger of her left hand and Rhett feels the need to pull out all the stops to convince them that he was completely gone on the gorgeous blonde.
