Capture the Flag is a team game usually played outdoors, but can be played in any designated space. Two teams each have a flag and the objective is to capture the other team's flag, located at the team's "home base", and bring it safely back to their own base. Opposing players can be "tagged" by players while on their side of the playing field or "home" territory. Depending on the agreed-upon rules, the tagged players are then either out of the game, members of the opposite team, sent back to their own side, frozen in place until tagged free by a member of their own team, or "in jail".
