Nobody's Friend (But that's not where it ends!)
is the first book in the series of children's picture books about the adventures of Perry, a resourceful pygmy-possum, and his friend Perky, an adventurous quokka. It consists of five delightful five-minute stories which are designed to be read to children up to seven years of age, perhaps as bedtime stories-although older children may enjoy reading them on their own. The stories begin with Perry waking up after several weeks-which he calls his torpor-time-to find that the land where he lives has been cleared. He's all alone and he sets out to find a friend. He meets Perky, an adventurous quokka, and together they travel anywhere and everywhere, enjoying life and making a difference whenever and wherever they can. All stories are positive, wholesome and educative.
The 12 watercolour illustrations are by acclaimed Australian artist, Emma Stuart. The illustrations are printed in Premium Colour.
