In an attempt to unify Japan, Yoshimoto Imagawa’s army left Suruga for the capital, but during their encampment at Dengaku Gorge in Owari Prefecture, Nobunaga Oda launched a daring raid with just 2,000 soldiers in what became the legendary Battle of Okehazama. Observing from a nearby hill was Samanosuke Mitsuhide Akechi, a young man who had refused the call of famous warlords to live freely and who was the nephew of Mitsuhide Akechi, future leader of the Honnoji rebellion. A year later, mysterious disappearances plagued Inabayama Castle, home to Yoshitatsu Saito, prompting his sister Princess Yuki to send a desperate letter to Samanosuke. Racing to the castle, Samanosuke faced deadly demons and, after a fierce battle, was bestowed a powerful gauntlet by the ogre clan—an artifact that allowed him to grow stronger with every demon he defeated.
