Kevin found such an idea absurd, because no traditional jihadist would possibly get this complex plan in mind.A few days later, however, a senior ISIS leader named Joel Fahd defected to the CIA after his bombing attempt on Goreme was frustrated by Turkish Intelligence. He confirmed Evelina's judgment that there was a plot to seize power. Kevin admired Evelina so much for her precise judgment and most participators of Operation Beatrice were filled with optimism that the crisis would soon be solved.
