As a paladin and prime of the Dark Goddess, Ginnevra travels the world with her werewolf companion Eodan, protecting the innocent and destroying evil. Her latest mission: to escort an anointed to the holy city of Abraciabene to receive the highest ordination of the Goddess's servants-the first man ever to do so.
Now Ginnevra and Eodan must guide their party of paladins and anointed on a monthlong journey through the badlands, struggling to maintain an uneasy peace within their company.
