Seb meets his eccentric next-door neighbours, Peddygrosso and Milly, who become his secret friends. The theft of a Native American Peace Pipe, the Watchung, from the local museum takes place. It is a valuable object donated by local businessman, Rudy Rottweil, who is also the museum's chairman. Rottweil craves power and status as a New York big-shot and more. With eviction, theft, arson and fraud, the plot twists and turns as Peddygrosso, Milly and Seb work together with their friend Dr Frankenthaler, to untangle truth from lies.
