While authoring this book, the author engaged in extensive discussions with PLDP-implementing agencies across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines, as well as with MISEREOR, a German funding agency. He also personally visited 260 villages, interacted with thousands of volunteers and community members, and gained firsthand insights into the impact and effectiveness of the People-Led Development Process.
