The moments that they had together are to be cherished forever. Corey shows courage regarding his grandfather's illness and subsequent death. Although sad because of his grandfather's death, Corey is happy in the knowledge that his Pepopper is in Heaven. Karen's hope is that this book will assist other children who face the death of a loved one to cope better by knowing that they are not alone and that others go through the same process of grieving.
