Without the help of Peter Dinklage's character in Avengers: Endgame, Eitri, Thor may not have been able to even make an attempt at stopping Thanos from erasing half of all living things in the universe. Eitri is the King of the Dwarves and stood at about 12 to 13 feet tall, but he was the only surviving blacksmith from Nidavellir. Once Thor arrived, Eitri informed him that Thanos killed everyone but him and the only way for a new weapon to be built for the God of Thunder would be Thor holding open the dying star. With the help of Groot, Eitri would go on to create Stormbreaker, which he believed was the most powerful weapon ever imagined.
