Poor Alchemist is desperate, stranded, and on the run. With his young family in tow, Alchemist finds himself on the lam after being wrongly ousted from his state position. A victim to a smear campaign by none other than Mars, a mutant clone of himself, Alchemist and his family find themselves on the receiving end of a vendetta fueled by bloodlust and wrath. In order to find sanctuary, Alchemist must find a way to escape an uninhabitable Earth.
With the forces at play converging, the stage is set for epic battles, intrigue, and the consequences of an ever-evolving human race. With the faith of the universe in Alchemist's hands, will he have the strength to dismantle the corruption that threatens the cosmos? And who will take up this mantle if he fails?
