Dee and Connie take on the case of Lang Latimer, a beautiful piano teacher who was brutally murdered. Twists abound from the beginning, and the detectives begin to doubt if they will ever find the killer especially since Lang's past becomes as much of a mystery as her death.
Dee and Winston take legal steps to keep Jonathan out of their lives but even the law can't stop his impending wrath. Jonathan is even more obsessed with possessing Dee. The conning cult leader develops an incredible scheme to have her, shocking everyone at how far he'll go to get what he wants.
Connie comes in contact with two suspicious figures from the past who might know more about Lang's murder than they let on.
