Praying with Scripture presents the Bible as a love letter from God meant to be taken personally. After offering basic information about the Bible and how to use it, the book contains various ways to pray with the Bible. These include personalizing it, reading it, meditating on it, lectio divina, and using prayers from it like the psalms. The goal is to deepen the reader's relationship with God. The writing is geared to ordinary people who desire to understand Scripture better and use it as a springboard to prayer.
