While government initiatives like Project Priyadarshini aim to empower women, poor implementation and awareness limit their impact. Women in tourism often work in lower-paying roles, with fewer leadership opportunities. Strengthening financial access, vocational training, and gender-inclusive policies can improve women's participation. Recommendations include better policy implementation, financial incentives, digital marketing adoption, and mentorship programs. Encouraging women's leadership in tourism will drive social and economic development while fostering gender equality. Addressing these challenges will unlock the full potential of women entrepreneurs in tourism.
