Many believers let their experiences define who they are and what they are capable of, they mask greatness with mediocrity. The word of God says they are glorious, victorious children of the Most High, but experience has taught them to aim a little lower, not to dream so big. So cunning is the criminal who steals our identity, we are sometimes unconscious that we have settled for less. It is after all the greatest, most elaborate deception that has ever been perpetrated. Everything that you see is a lie. It has been orchestrated to deceive you into believing that you are ordinary, powerless, lacking, or a victim. The whole world is under the sway of the evil one. We know [for a fact] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] lies in the power of the evil one [opposing God and His precepts] 1 John 5:19. Listen to me beloved, do not believe the lie. Things are not as they appear to be. Your eyes cannot show you the whole picture, much of the existence of creation is unseen. The bible refers to it as; "the world to come." Hebrews 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come.
A more accurate translation is; things to come (things that God has ordained for those who believe and expect to receive them), the world of expectations. The word translated; "to come," is: mello; to receive through expectation.
méllō, mel'-lo; a strengthened form of G3199 (through the idea of expectation); to intend, i.e. be, about to be, do, or suffer something (of persons or things, especially events; in the sense of purpose, duty, necessity, probability, possibility, or hesitation).
The word, "powers," is translated; doo-na-mis: miraculous power, power for miracles. Put them together and we have the miraculous power of God to receive what we expect to receive.
