It all started in the year of 2017 during the holidays while hanging out with my family. It was just a few days before Christmas. After leaving my mom's house, I began to think of everything that has been taking place in my life, and it seems that all I have been acquainted with was ups and downs. Another year will soon pass and still nothing.
After leaving my mom's house around 4:00 p.m., I believe I got in my car and just began to think. It seemed as if everything possible just hit me all at once: "Life." I'm still single, almost forty years old. Never been married and no kids. Oh, how I desired babies. I just felt completely alone, so I just drove. I've cried my eyes out. Oh, I was a mess. I have never ever been through anything quite like this in my entire life. You know why? I was so caught up in my promise. You know, the things that God promised me. I lost sight of my purpose.
So when God began to talk to me on Monday 1, 2018, He said, "Nicole, what are you committed to your relationship with Me or the things that I have already confirmed that is yours?" He said, "Your relationship with Me is more important than your promise." God made these promises to you before you even had a desire for them. Are you committed to your purpose or the promise? "The Lord is not slack concerning His promises" (2 Peter 3:9, KJV).
