Reading can be taught across the curriculum. Cross curricular projects are a great way to incorporate all subjects. Students learn to read at different rates and proficiencies. Students learn differently; therefore, shouldn't each student have an individual learning plan. A project plan to ensure that each student learns at their own pace, supporting their interests and focused on each individual student's learning style.
