Am I in WAY over my head?
I'm Kwirk, a fourth grader at Ravenwood Elementary School. You may have heard of me. I've got a pretty bad reputation. And because of my bad reputation, I sometimes feel like an outsider in my friend group of outsiders filled with weirdos and geeks. Don't get any of us started on Super Samurai Slugs!
But here's what's different this year. First, I'm back at Ravenwood Elementary after being expelled for that bad boy incident. Second, I've got a crush on this cute boy who plays soccer. And third, I have a feeling he may like me back! Me! The loner weirdo outsider! Even my brother, Wayne, thinks so! Maybe?
Still, I know it's going to take a little getting used to being back at this school after everything I did. So glad I have my friends! The cute soccer boy might be a problem, especially since the school bully really has it out for me. Maybe this year I'll finally have the courage to stand up to him to protect my friends and myself.
