Upon arrival in Soul City, Death is given a simple mission - to eliminate code: 88878, Smith. That mission turns out to be far more complex than she foresees. She soon finds that it involves getting mixed up with the Soul family; the worst family a Reaper could have anything to do with. The soul of the daughter of a top ranking member has been taken from her, and it's up to Death to find it, but the mission grows more complex when she encounters Bellame, a renegade son who was born to be different. Their two lives soon become intertwined, bound by their growing affection and shared objectives. Death soon encounters choices and feelings that will change her life forever.
