I have to thank many friends who have kindly in terested themselves in my work. To Mr. Gleeson White, who guided me over the western district, and to Mr. H. E. Morgan and Mr. A. T. Way for similar services in the northern and eastern suburbs, and to Dr. Whistler for his assistance in the note on Rossetti's house, I am more particularly indebted.
