In the year 2011, I started searching for answers. My body was beginning to atrophy in my shoulder area. I wanted the answers. It is so hard to continue searching and coming to a dead end. After the biopsy, we were told that my muscles would atrophy faster than originally predicted. I felt totally alone.. That is one of the reasons why I wanted to write this story. When you get a diagnosis like this, it is a game changer. You will lose a lot but what you gain is an intense connection with God. Every storm that you go through you will be able to see and feel God help you. God is real. There is definitely more. I have had ALS for over 11 years. If you have ALS, please reach out to me. I hope you enjoy reading about how God has blessed me and I hope it gives you HOPE in whatever you are facing. I am working on a companion book: Ascension. This book will pick up where Resurrection ends. Ascension is one of the toughest seasons for me yet. I can't wait to share it with you, too. Happy reading! I am a retired teacher. I taught for 20 years. I retired because of my weakened condition but my mind is afire. I read, write, reflect, and write every day. My POV is usually as a teacher but not always. I have a bucket list and on it is to be a published author. I have many books to write. I want a cure for ALS. I want to spread LOVE. I want my maker to use me until I'm completely exhausted. Life is for living. showtunessal.blog Bachelors of Education from the University of Memphis 1996 Masters of Education from Union University Class of the 2003.
