Our hilarious Father Jack finally takes a vacation. One of his best friends heads up a monastery and after he and his dog arrive, the place is turned on its ear, never to be the same again.
But, is that a bad thing?
Only if the police are called over circumstances already festering and Jack finds himself helplessly drawn in. He might be away from home, but he handily engages that amazing ability to reach down into souls, even when he's not sure what he'll find.
Meanwhile, back at the rectory, Fr. Will and Tom Fish, the parish cat are beside themselves worrying over what appears to be the housekeeper's stepping out and with not one shred of guilt.
