Everything, health, disease, sun, earth, etc. changes, builds up and breaks down, is an ongoing product of cause and effect. Most disease can have multiple causes (poor diet, drugs, climate, etc.), some that can be changed, eliminated; others not. Poor, incorect diet, nutrition (varies) tends to dominate. Most diet-related disease can generally be reversed via correct diet (food, herbs), which is why I and others I counseled or met (*)were able to CURE:
