There have been over 531 cases of school shootings in the United States of America since 2010, with 64 of them took place in 2015 alone. Can you take a moment to imagine what the families who have lost a loved one, or worse, have someone who suffered from such tragedy and is living with a kid like Macy in their house; can you imagine the torture? Hundreds of research studies have been conducted, trying to discover the root cause for such violent acts, but none seems to have borne fruitful results since school shootings are becoming more common these days.
The unusually and unnecessary possession of arms on school premises, child abuse, bullying, and the open use of drugs, among others, are some of the reasons for such violent outbreaks. What they don't realize is the repercussions of such actions. The ones who are the victims have to live with it, carry it in their hearts and minds wherever they go and are reminded of the horrors every other day whenever another such act is pulled at any other school. They keep struggling and battling until they become one too!
