Maude is leaving her beloved Paris for a new job and new life in the U.S. But she is leaving behind far more than just her old job and friends. She is leaving a life where she felt loved and protected. Now she entered a strange new world wondering if she will ever feel what she had back in Paris. Her company matches her with an intern who is more than eager to introduce her to what life in the states can offer as Maude seeks to fill the void in her soul that comes with moving forward with her life.
