The medical condition which is caused by abrupt and uncontrolled electrical disturbances in the brain is called seizure. It can affect a person’s movements, behavior, levels of consciousness and feelings. A few common causes of seizures are closed head injury, meningitis and stroke. Seizures are classified as either focal seizures and generalized seizures.
