A Midsummer Night's Dream
is one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies. With mixed-up lovers, fairies, magic spells, and a play-within-a-play, its plot is woven between three groups of people: the Athenian court and its courtiers, the Athenian tradesmen working on a drama to perform before the court, and the fairies who rule over the woods outside of Athens.
