As an FBI agent, I've sworn to uphold the law, to protect the public from the monsters of society. As a man, I've sworn off love and relationships. Multiple failed marriages have made me cynical and uninterested in anything beyond meaningless one-night stands. When an assignment puts me in close quarters with a feisty woman who's been victimized, I'm forced to question everything.
