These Snappy Snippets provide practise in reading short texts, that contain the sounds learned in Series 1, 2 and 3 of Sounds make Words make Stories. They are particularly good for readers who may be put off by high-frequency sight words, as they contain very few. This allows the reader to completely focus on sounding out. These Snappy Snippets should be used in conjunction with the self-reader books in Series 3, both at the entry and plus levels.
This series is also complemented with the read-aloud story books 'Cowboy Hats' , 'The Bored King' and 'Alien Adventures'.
