This book is about PI Walter Wallace Webb, AKA Wally Webb who owns a detective agency called Tangled Web Solutions. The main setting is in Tucson, AZ, however, Wally's PI actions lead him into Sinaloa, Mexico which is the headquarters of the largest drug cartel in the world. Wally's skilled team of investigators is headed up by his "Girl Friday" Shannon McGinnis who also doubles as his sweetheart. Wally and Shannon are supervising the wedding activities of their best friends Doris Moore and Jimmy Vaughn at the Westin La Paloma hotel when a firebomb destroys a new Mercedes in the parking lot with a man in it. Wally becomes the chief PI to solve his "Mafia Type" hit job.
