Bobbi had the honor of working with Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross who was a pioneer in the hospice movement. She is grateful that the wisdom Elisabeth shared has been a touchstone over the last decade. Her mission is to promote quality services for every child and people who are dealing with grief, feeling isolated, and marginalized. She stresses the importance of evolving; believing that we are worthy; basically being the presence of light from cradle to grave. She has won numerous child advocacy awards, contributed articles on early childhood, and presented workshops across the country. She has also won awards for her work in theatre including the Source Theatre Festival and Washington Women in Theater.
