Thirty-six-year-old Spencer Highland is generally happy with his lot in life. He's got a great social circle, a job as a voice actor and audiobook narrator (which he loves), and a cat he's pretty sure owns his soul. But, since his last breakup, he's been lonely. He wants to mean something to someone again. Wants to take care of someone again.

Unfortunately, courtesy of his personal hang-ups, putting himself back out there doesn't feel as easy as it sounds on paper.
Meanwhile, Tony Russo is a twenty-eight-year-old man who is convinced that he does

After an embarrassing encounter, Tony finds himself connecting with Spencer in a way he's never connected with another person before. Tony is also blown away by the idea that his favorite narrator might be at all interested in him, too.
