First there was the mysterious body with unexplained scorch marks. Then one missed chance at escape after another leaves Conal "Corbyn" trapped in the lap of luxury. Until that lap dumps him in the middle of the sprawling woodlands of Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The Retreat is as perplexing as that scorched body. G-men and Special Forces types are teaching snobby rich kids how to do everything from hack a computer, to survive Skinwalker attacks. Nothing at the retreats is as it seems. Because Conn isn't either. He's not one of the rich and powerful Corbyn's at all. He's just a homeless street urchin that tried to leverage the belongings of a dead guy into a soft bed, a hot shower, and room service.
