When their paths cross through this mystical spyglass, they are caught up in the escape to a seemingly private world where they quickly connect and eventually decide to meet in person. Everything seems to be in order until they discover that not only are they separated by oceans, but they also exist a hundred years apart. Using the spyglass has awakened a malevolent spirit from Nora's past that threatens not only the current world but also the promise she made to her mother, and now her life as well.
