Emily's father died when she was a baby and her mother when she was nine. With no other family, she became a ward of the state and was raised in an orphange, then foster homes. At the age of twenty-four, she found herself on her own, barely making ends meet with low paying jobs. Still, she was comfortable with her life until she met John Smith, a homeless man suffering from amnesia. The two fast become friends and eventually fall in love, however, before they can be together forever, they have to find out who the real John Smith is. John can't deny being a car thief since the accident he had which caused his amnesia found him behind the wheel of a stolen car, but he worries he may have done something much worse . . . murder. Regardless, the two set out to find the truth for the sake of love.
