The base and two sandbags come in the box, rated together to hold 220 lb, so the umbrella stands the day it arrives rather than waiting on a separate order. Tilt is infinite rather than stepped: loosen the locking collar, move the handle up or down, and lock it wherever the shade lands. The canopy rotates a full 360 degrees on the same principle, and a self-locking hinge at the top connector keeps it from swaying once set. A fixing strap adds wind resistance. Clearance under the rim runs 6.4 ft, and the umbrella folds to 7.8 ft for storage.
