A 13-ft hexagonal chicken coop built on a galvanized steel frame gives 15 to 30 birds a walk-in run measuring 13-ft by 11.4-ft and standing 8.6-ft tall. The hexagonal roof sheds rain instead of pooling it, and 1-in tubing runs thicker than the 0.6-in pipe common on lighter frames. High-strength wire mesh keeps predators out and poultry in, while the 5.4-ft by 2.1-ft lockable door lets a keeper walk straight inside. A 210D Oxford cover blocks sun, drizzle and snow and clips down with an elastic cord. Six wind ropes, 6 ground stakes and 250 zip ties handle assembly and anchoring.
