Set the dial on the detachable temperature regulator, wait about three minutes, and the indicator light goes out once the plate reaches the mark. That regulator pulls off completely, which means the aluminum cooking plate and the grease collecting bowl can be wiped down with warm soapy water after the grill has cooled and the plug is out. Assembly is laid out part by part with both drawings and text, so the stand goes together without guesswork. Five feet on the base spread the load and hold the grill steady on a lawn or a deck. Standing 35.6 inches tall over a 24.8 by 24.8 inch footprint, it brings the 15.7 by 15.7 inch plate up to a comfortable working height. Power is a standard 120V 60Hz supply at 1350 W.
